Shipping Information
Here at Vande Walle's Candies we are in the business of selling chocolates and confections. We are not in the business of shipping or making a profit from it.
Our website is linked directly to UPS and SpeeDee Delivery to calculate real time shipping charges. You will have the opportunity to choose your own carrier.
Shipping details are as follows. We hope this will help you when you have shipping questions. If you have any further questions please feel free to call us.
UPS
UPS generally has a 1 day delivery time within Wisconsin and bordering cities. There is a 1 - 5 day delivery time within the continental United States. You may get an estimated shipping time through the UPS website. You will have the option to ship ground or expedited delivery through UPS. When your package ships, you will automatically be emailed the tracking number. UPS does not ship to PO Boxes.
SpeeDee
SpeeDee generally has a 1 day delivery time within Wisconsin. We find that SpeeDee Delivery is generally less expensive than UPS in the 8-state upper midwest region that SpeeDee delivers to. The delivery time is not always guaranteed, especially during the holiday package rush. When your package ships, you will automatically be emailed the tracking number. SpeeDee does not ship to P.O. boxes.
Processing of Orders
Website orders are processed and shipped within 2-4 business days of receipt if all products are in stock. There may be a delay in a shipment of your order if an item is out of stock. If that delay is more than 5 business days we will notify you by email.
All products are wrapped in cushioning foam, bubble wrap, or tissue paper, then packed in a shipping carton. We package all of our chocolates to keep them from being damaged during shipping.
We ship our orders Monday through Friday weather permitting. If an order is being shipped to a warmer climate we reserve the right to hold the order to ship on a Monday or Tuesday to avoid having the package sit a warm climate over a weekend.
Currently we only ship within the continental United States.
Need Quicker Delivery?
Expedited shipping is available. This option will be available on the site during the checkout process. Most overnight and 2nd day deliveries can be anywhere from $25 to $150 depending on the carrier, the weight of the package, and the level of service selected. Please remember that these are UPS rates. We do not artificially raise the cost of our product to subsidize UPS shipping rates.
Return Policy
Here at Vande Walle's Candies we will do our very best to ship your package out in a timely manner, packed to survive the trials and perils of which ever shipping carrier that you choose. It is our desire that your chocolates and confections arrive in great condition. If your purchase does not meet with your satisfaction, you may return your item for a prompt replacement.
Shipping to and from Vande Walle's Candies is at the customer's expense and varies according to weight, size, shipping type and location.
Shipping is non-refundable*
Fund raising bars are custom made for each order received, and as such as not returnable.
