Shipping
Our standard shipping methods are UPS Ground, SpeeDee Delivery, and truck. Expidited freight service is available upon request: UPS Next Day, UPS-2 Day, and UPS-3 Day.
Shipping costs (UPS list rates and SpeeDee Delivery list rates) are added to the total of the order.
Our orders are packed and shipped in the order they are received. Pre-orders are shipped per the requested ship date whenever possible.
Warm weather shipping: Heat sensitive products are shipped in insulated containers with cold packs during warm weather months (when temperatures in transit are expected to exceed 75F). If insulated shippers and ice packs are required, we will charge an additional fee of $13.00 per insulated shipper.
Backorders: Please specify your preference for backorders on your order. If no preference is specified, we will backorder out of stock items and ship when available.
Returns & Claims
Returns: No returns allowed. Merchandise is not sold on consignment or guaranteed sale. No anticipation.
Damages in Transit: All damages in transit must be filed with the delivering carrier.
Shipment Inspection: Please inspect all shipments upon arrival and note any damage on the bill of lading before signing. Failure to do so will severely limit your ability to file a claim and receive reimbursement from the carrier.
Take pictures of all damage prior to opening.
We must be notified of any damage within 3 days of receipt.
Terms of Sale
Minimum order: 1 case.
Goods are sold FOB our dock, Appleton WI 54913.
Payment options: Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, or check in advance.
Net 20 days terms for customers with an approved credit application on file.
Past due account balances must be paid in full prior to new orders being shipped.
The cost of any legal fees and/or collection fees associated with a past due account will be paid by the delinquent account.
Checks returned NSF will be charged a $45.00 processing fee in addition to any bank fees or collection fees charged.
We reserve the right to assess a service charge of 1.5% per month (18% A.P.R.) on all past due balances, with service charges calculated starting on the invoice date.
Late payments will have an adverse effect on your credit status and on your ability to carry our products. Placing an order with Vande Walle's Candies acknowledges your agreement to our terms of business.
